30 Day Eyeglasses Exchange/Credit Guarantee*

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your original purchase of eyeglasses, you may exchange them within 30 days of dispensing for another pair of equal value.  All sales of sunglasses are final.

Custom-made prescription and non-prescription lenses are tailor made to your specifications.  If you return them for reasons other than factory defects or errors in laboratory manufacturing, we will issue you a credit good for one year from the date of purchase. 

All qualifying items returned must be in the same condition as on the date dispensed to you. 

30 Day Prescription Change Guarantee

If, within 30 days of dispensing your new eyeglasses you are unable to adapt to the prescription, and the Doctor determines there is a change in your prescription, there will be no charge to remake your eyeglasses.

Progressive Multifocals Guarantee

If you have any difficulty adjusting to your progressive multifocal lens, you can exchange them within 30 days of dispensing for a lined multifocal or a single vision lens.

Frame Warranty*

All of our frames come with a manufacturer’s warranty that covers manufacturer defects for one year from the date of purchase.  Additional shipping fees may apply.

Using Your Own Frame

Even when frames are in perfect condition, removing old lenses and replacing them with new lenses is stressful on a frame.  Most frames that have been worn for a period of time are not in perfect condition simply due to normal wear and tear.  Small cracks and weak points occasionally develop that cannot be seen with the naked eye.  Our professional lab will be as careful as possible when handling your frames.  However, should the frame break, it will be your responsibility to choose another frame at your expense.  We will cover the expense of the new lenses that need to be custom made to your newly selected frame.

To maintain the comfort and fit of your eyeglasses, we provide you with free cleaning and adjustments for as long as you own your glasses.

All fees for Professional Services are non-refundable.

Dispensing Policy

All eyeglasses and contact lenses that have been prescribed, fitted, and purchased by the patient will be kept in the office for a total of one year from the date of purchase. If the patient does not pick up his/her eyeglasses or contact lenses within that year, they shall, by default, become the property of Honolulu Vision Care Center and we will no longer be responsible for those eyeglasses or contact lenses after that one-year time period.
