Contact Lens Fitting

Contact lenses have come a long way.  We fit a variety of contact lenses, including gas permeable lenses, soft lenses, colored contact lenses, enhancement lenses, and contact lenses to correct eye conditions such as keratoconus and pellucid marginal degeneration.

We are able to provide the most advanced contact lenses in the market, because the manufacturers recognize us as a leading contact lens fitting practice.  Our doctors routinely meet with contact lens manufacturer representatives to receive the latest news in the industry. We oftentimes are trusted to receive the latest contact lenses before they are released to the nation’s general practices.

Our contact lens fitting includes an evaluation of your current contact lens fit, comfort and vision, and recommendations for what is best for an individual’s lifestyle and demands.  Patients who have never worn contact lenses before will have a trained optometric assistant guide them through the insertion, removal, cleaning and disinfecting of the contact lenses.  We will spend an unlimited amount of time guiding our patients until they are comfortable.  All contact lens fitting include an unlimited number of contact lens checks.

Co-Management of
LASIK & PRK

Undergoing eye surgery can be a daunting task.  The first step in considering any kind of elective surgery is to undergo a comprehensive evaluation.  Our doctors offer laser eye surgery consultations where we carefully perform a series of non-evasive tests to determine if you are a candidate.  We can answer all of your questions regarding this potentially life changing operation, provide a professional recommendation for LASIK or PRK, and refer you to leading surgeons right here in Hawaii.

After surgery, proper follow up care is essential.  We co-manage with surgeons to help monitor recovery in the post-operative period to ensure an optimal outcome.
